Despite the difficulties brought about by the ongoing supply and logistical crises, Ducati ended the first half of the year with a good sales performance. The company’s global revenue increased by 5.4 percent over the semester, moving from 514 to 542 million euros. This is the greatest number the motorbike maker has ever seen for the first six months of any year.
In comparison to the same time in 2021, operating profits increased by 14.8%, rising from 59 to 68 million euros.
A total of 33,265 motorcycles were shipped to motorcycle enthusiasts by the Bologna-based firm, a decrease of 3.6 percent from the same period in 2021. This was attained despite the challenges caused by the supply crisis.'
With 6,028 delivered motorcycles, Italy is reaffirmed as Ducati’s top market, followed by North America, Germany, and France. With 2,411 motorcycles shipped, China grows by +12%, in numbers.
With 6,139 units delivered, the Multistrada V4 was the most popular Ducati of the first semester. The second most sold was the Monster selling 4,776 units. Third up the line is the Scrambler family clocking sales of 3,999 units.
