Maruti Cars Fail To Shine At The G-NCAP Crash Tests

Following the failure of the three Maruti models at the G-NCAP last year, two more Maruti cars failed at the crash tests recently.

Maruti Alto K10 and WagonR are the brand's best-selling models in India.

Both K10 and WagonR failed miserably in the crash tests, scoring overall safety rating of 2-star and 1-star respectively.

WagonR scores one-star in adult occupant protection and zero for child occupant protection

Alto K10 scored two stars for adult occupant protection and zero for child occupant protection.

Maruti spokesperson said that they will focus more on the Bharat NCAP tests when it's launched.

They also added that the cars from the brand meet the mandatory safety requirements from the government of India.

Last year, three cars from Maruti, Swift, S-Presso and Ignis scored one star each in the adult occupant protection tests zero for child occupant protection.
