Yamaha is reportedly gearing up to make a comeback to the premium motorcycle segment in India, and the launch of R3 will confirm this statement
The new R3 comes with two cosmetic updates : sleek LED indicators derived from bigger motorcycles and a new purple colour
The mechanical specifications remains the same. Gets a 321cc, parallel-twin engine making 42hp and 29.5Nm
The diamond frame is suspended by a KYB-USD fork (37mm) and KYB preload-adjustable Monoshock
The R3 comes packed with features such as slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, LCD display and LED lighting
Upon launch in India, it will rival the likes of KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR and Kawasaki Ninja 400.
