Air India Express Planes To Celebrate Kochi Muziris Biennale With New Tail Art

Air India Express will celebrate its association with Kochi Muziris Biennale by unveiling a new tail art for its Boeings.

The 25-foot-long tail art will be revealed on January 26, 2023, when the nation celebrates its 74th Republic Day.

An original acrylic painting by artist GS Smitha is being adapted into the magnificent airplane livery.

It will adorn newly inducted Boeing 737-800 aircrafts

P A Mohammed Riyas, Minister of Public Works and Tourism, Kerala, will unveil the tail art at Air India's base in Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, in an event co-attended by the airline CEO Aloke Singh and Kochi Biennale foundation President Bose Krishnamachari.

Air India and Air India Express have joined hands with the Biennale foundation this year as the official travel parnters for the event.

The Tata group-owned airline will fly international artists and art enthusiasts from their home countries to the Biennale and back.

Celebrating the association further, five unique mural paintings depicting Air India's major international destinations will be on display at the event.

Air India Express is known for offering budget flights from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to Gulf / Middle East and South East Asia.

Kochi Muziris Biennale, India's largest art exhibition and the biggest contemporary art fest in Asia, is scheduled to go on till April 10, 2023, in its newest edition.
