Famous tribal playback singer from Kerala, Nanjiyamma has bought a brand new Kia Sonet.
She picked the Sonet HTK+ in Aurora Black, and took delivery from Incheon Kia Kochi.
Nanjiyamma's Kia Sonet has a 1.2L NA petrol engine, and costs 9.46 lakh ex-showroom.
She celebrated the purchase by singing for the dealership staff, on the occasion of delivery. Incheon Kia has posted this video on their social media handles.
Nanjiyamma hails from a tribal community in Kerala's Attappady. She rose to stardom for writing and singing the song 'Kalakkatha Sandana Meram'.
This song written in the Irula language, was used as the title song of 2020 Malayalam movie 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'.
Nanjiyamma won the 68th National Award for the best playback singer (female), for the movie.

After going viral on the internet, the 65 year old playback singer, who is also a part of Azad Kala Samithi, is very busy with shows.
She also has a Youtube channel which shows life in Attappady, their food and agricultural practices and the endemic songs of the place.
