This premium MPV will be positioned above the current flagship model of the brand, the XL6
The new MPV will be called Engage, and will be the 5th offering from the Suzuki-Toyota partnership
The rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross will be sold exclusively through Nexa outlets
Other models in this alliance are Glanza, Urban Cruiser (discontinued), Grand Vitara and Urban Cruiser Hyryder
The Engage MPV is expected to come with 7 and 8-seater configurations, like the Hycross
The Maruti MPV will get some minor exterior updates to differentiate itself from the Hycross
The Engage will be underpinned by the TNGA-C platform, just like the Hycross
As for the powertrains, the Engage will get 2.0L NA petrol and the 2.0L strong hybrid petrol engines. It could also be the first Maruti Suzuki model to get ADAS safety features
