Let's take a look at some of the pros and cons of the RE Super Meteor 650.
In terms of look, fit and finish, the RE Super Meteor 650 is worth the money.
The paint quality is very good and the graphics are subtle and classy
The Tourer variant comes with a chunky seat and tall windscreen, giving it a more cruiser-like look
Pure cruiser ergonomics. Wide and flat handlebar, forward-set footpegs, 740mm saddle, etc.
It comes ready with a 648cc parallel-twin engine pushing out 46.35 hp and 52.3 Nm of torque. The air-cooled engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission
Incredibly tractable engine Great low and mid-range rpm. You can easily cruise in low speeds in higher gears without any trouble
The motorcycle is super-heavy! 241kg to be precise. You will find it pretty difficult to pull the bike out of parking
But the weight doesn't hold the Super Meteor back from cruising at high speeds. The top speed of the bike is 160 kmph
The entry level Solo Tourer has no windscreen. Heavy windblast on the rider during highspeed cruising. The tall windscreen on the Tourer restrict the windblast to hit the rider's chest, but fails to do the same at the helmet
The suspension of the Super Meteor 650 doesn't feel that premium. It comes with a USD fork up front and twin shocks at the rear.
The most expensive Royal Enfield The Super Meteor 650 costs Rs. 3,48,900 (ex-showroom). The Tourer variant comes at Rs. 3,78,900. However, it's the most affordable 650cc cruiser in the market.
