Riders get their pie of joy from the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer as Honda two wheelers launches the all new CB1000R+ in India. The bike would be available in India as CBU units and bears a tad heavy tag of Rs. 14.46 Lacs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The CB 000R+ is a totally alluring package, weaving retro looking elements delightfully with ultra-modern styling. The new design language, or “Neo Sports Café” as the manufacturer likes to call it, makes the bike quite a poser on the streets.
The iconic front LED headlamp, the compact silhouette added more grace to by the swing arm mounted rear fender and the number plate, all complement the overall visual appeal of the bike very well.
Good things don’t end with the flashy looks alone, the CB1000R+ hosts a 4 cylinder liter class engine that lets out as much as 107 kW (10,500 rpm) and 104 Nm (8,250 rpm ). The overall dynamics have been so tuned as to give the rider a remarkably large amount of usable engine performance and razor sharp handling (no short of a mean super sports machine as has to be the case). Modern day tech like slipper clutch, Throttle By Wire (TBW) flaunting a preset riding modes and a USER setting [Power (P), Engine Brake (EB)] as well, Engine Brake (EB)] and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and new age hardware like quick shifter, heated grips etc are on-board the CB1000R+ as well. Honda also has on offer a wide range of accessories for beefing up the bike further, metallic meter visor and seat cowl, front fender panel, hugger panel and radiator grill to name a few.
The new CB 1000 R+ is lighter than the outgoing design and this fact has definitely had its good impacts on the power to weight ratio as well.This, along with the box section mono backbone steel frame, with Showa separate function front fork big piston USD Suspension up front and a Showa mono shock at the rear, further enhance the bike’s dynamics. The CB 1000 R+ comes in a catchy shade of Graphite Black.

The CB 1000 R+ was launched in India along as part of the official launch of the 2019 CBU lineup from the bike maker. The year’s CBU lineup includes the Gold Wing Tour DCT, CBR1000RR Fireblade & CBR1000RR Fireblade SP in addition to the much enchanting CB 1000R+. The Gold Wing is priced at Rs. 27.79 Lacs while the CBR 1000RR Fireblade and CBR 1000RR Fireblade SP bear tags of Rs. 16.43 Lacs and Rs. 19.28 Lacs respectively (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
