Hyundai chose to launch the 2020 Hyundai Tucson online owing to pandemic concerns
Hyundai India has launched the much awaited 2020 iteration of the Tucson SUV online. The Tucson facelift had earlier been showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo by the manufacturer. The car has now made its market debut, with the prices starting from INR 22.30 lakh.
The all-new Tucson gets minor design changes from the outgoing model. It gets familiar modern-day Hyundai-ish bits like the cascading grille upfront, Penta projector LED lamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels, twin chrome exhausts etc. On the inside, the Tucson gets an all-black cabin with a leather stitched dashboard, power-adjustable front seats, Infinity premium sound system, hands-free power tailgate, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, etc.
The new Tucson comes with two engine options- a 2.0 diesel and 2.0L petrol. The diesel mill is mated to an 8 speed AT and lets out 185PS, while the petrol delivers 152 PS and comes mated to a 6 speed AT.The higher trims also get HTRAC AWD system from Hyundai as well.

The new Hyundai Tucson launch had taken place at a virtual showcase that had two other powerful brands on display as well- the Hyundai Verna and Creta. Both these cars had recently had their market entries in India and have been selling well ever since.
