2020 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Unveiled, Gets A Petrol Heart And A Bunch Of Design Upgrades!

So finally, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza gets a petrol heart and a slew of design tweaks. We tell you more about it…


Maruti Suzuki has put the upgraded Vitara Brezza on display at the Auto Expo 2020 that comes with an all-new petrol powerhouse with mild-hybrid tech and a revamped physique.

The Vitara Brezza 2020 is presented with a BS-VI compliant 1.5 litre K15 B petrol powertrain similar to Ertiga and XL6 models, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional automated 4-speed transmission, devised to yield a power of 105 PS at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 138 Nm at 4400 rpm. A mileage of 17.03 kmpl is claimed for the manual version whereas the hybrid-tech that comes only with the automatic version would offer close to 18.76 kmpl.

The Suzuki Brezza 2020 is presented in both Urban and Sporty accents with body garnishes and roof extension all available in Sizzling red and Torque blue hues with blackened roofs. Moving on to the aesthetic upgrade,  Brezza 2020 comes with all-new projector LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, an attractive chrome-carved grille that houses the Suzuki logo, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and LED tail lamps.

And for the cabin, an upgraded 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto Connectivity has been incorporated, so as to enable traffic updates, vehicle alerts and so on. Up on the safety front, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belt reminder, rear parking assist and high-speed alerts form the key highlights along with the usual cruise control and rain-sensing automatic wipers.

Maruti aims at holding on to its prime position in the compact SUV segment with the upgraded Suzuki Brezza.
