2021 Toyota Fortuner Facelift Leaked Ahead Of Global Debut!

The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift would most likely see its global unveil in May

The Toyota Fortuner has been a hot-selling SUV in India ever since its inception. Images of the 2021 Toyota Fortuner have now surfaced on the web, that show a highly undisguised car, spotted in Thailand. This happens at a time when the official debut of the vehicle is already scheduled to happen in May.

Diving into the details seems sort of impossible from the pictures. But we hope them to be of the TRD variant of the 2021 Fortuner, for the car in question has blacked-out roof and pillars. It is also evident from the pictures that the new Fortuner will have sharper and slimmer headlamps and a more angular body kit. The front and rear bumpers also seem to have gone through extensive rounds of revision.

One need not be wondered if I were to say that this car resembles the Toyota RAV4 to a great extent. The chrome bits of the current model seem to have been replaced by sportier-looking black inserts. The 2021 Fortuner had earlier been reported to witness an official unveil in May. However, sources hint at chances of the carmaker pushing it to late 2020s, owing to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.

India Launch?

We are yet unsure as to if Toyota will bring this facelift to India any soon. Sources indicate that chances for the same are minimal as well. However, Toyota is readying a limited edition minor refresh for the SUV for imminent launch, which would feature a bunch of cosmetic upgrades both on the outside and on the inside. This edition is reported to get a 360-degree camera and auto-folding wing mirrors.
