Bajaj Pulsar N160: What’s It?

The N160 has a lot of design similarities with the N250. The motorcycle is available in 3 catchy color options- Caribbean Blue, Racing Red, and Techno Grey. There is a more exciting Brooklyn Black shade available exclusively on the dual-channel ABS variant.

Key design highlights of the N160 include LED projector headlamp with eyebrow-like LED DRLs, edgy fuel tank extensions, a muscular 14L fuel tank that looks unmistakeably Pulsar-ish, a short, neat windscreen, vertical LED tail lamps, Y-shaped alloy wheels, split seats, split grab rails, and an underbelly exhaust, unlike the N250. Kit on offer includes a digital-analog instrument cluster and an integrated USB charging port.

Bajaj N160 Specification

The Pulsar N160 is built on the same frame as the N250. This is essentially the new tubular frame developed by Bajaj for their next-generation products. The motorcycle also features the N250’s nitrox mono-shock. The engine, however, is a 164.82 cc oil-cooled twin-spark DTS-i unit, producing 15.7 hp and 14.65 Nm. This if you might remember, is less than the NS160’s 17 hp, even while the torque remains unchanged. The transmission on offer is a 5-speed unit.

Bajaj N160 gets a 31mm telescopic fork and 280mm front disc on the Single-channel ABS version, while the dual-channel variant gets larger 37mm forks and 300mm front disc.
