Specifications
The C3 offers the choice of two different powertrains- naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions of the 1.2-liter petrol engine. The 3-cylinder NA engine would produce 82 hp and 115 Nm, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The more interesting turbocharged engine churns out 110 hp and 190 Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There are no automatics on offer though.
The baby Citroen features an epic suspension setup. There is a sweet balance between ride quality and handling here. This could simply be the most comfortable offering for the price.
Rivals
Even when it bears the ‘B hatch’ label, the Citroen C3 would compete with the B-SUVs with its styling and prices. One key competitor could be the Tata Punch, which has a lot of similarities with the C3. Besides, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Ignis could also compete, going by the pricing.
