The much-adored performance sedan is back…
The facelifted BMW 340i has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of 69.20 lakh. The new M340i gets a number of visual updates along with some newly added features inside. The key highlight on the exterior is the big kidney grill in glossy black surroundings with hexagonal black mesh. The new adaptive LED headlamps are now sharper and get better-looking DRLs. The front bumper now looks more muscular. Five twin-spoke black alloy wheels with red brake callipers, attractive body lines, Sharper ORVMs, a new diffuser, etc are the other highlights.
The interior gets a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system, powered by iDrive 8. The infotainment system has a more curved layout on the new car. The upper centre console gets a slight visual update too, along with the new AC vents.
The car gets a 3.0-litre inline-six engine that delivers 369 bhp and 500 Nm, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds. A power boost of 11 bhp from the mild hybrid system comes in handy whenever you crave. The mild hybrid tech also helps in saving fuel. Top speed of the new BMW M340i is limited to 250kmph. The sedan will start its deliveries from next month onwards, across the country.
