Hero Xtreme 200S 4V Launched In India | Price And Details

The motorcycle comes with an interesting pricing

Hero Motocorp has launched the updated Hero Xtreme 200S 4V in India at an ex-showroom price of 1.41 lakh. This also means that the entire 200cc lineup from Hero is now available with 4-valve engines. The 4-valve motorcycle demands just Rs 5000 more than its 2-valve counterpart, which bears a sticker price of Rs 1.36 lakh.

In the Indian context, the new Xtreme 200S 4V’s pricing is quite competitive. Its closest rival- the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at 1.47 lakh ex-showroom (Rs 6000 more expensive), while the Bajaj Pulsar F250 sells for Rs 1.50 lakh, ex-sh (Pricier by Rs 9000).

2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V: What’s New In It?

The key highlight here is the technically-superior 4-valve engine, which churns out 19.1hp and 17.35Nm. The numbers are now better than the 2-valve engine’s 18.08hp and 16.45Nm. The new 199.6cc, single-cylinder unit guarantees better performance, refinement and comes with oil cooling. The gear ratios are claimed to have been reworked as well.

The Xtreme 200S 4V also comes with a bunch of new feature additions. In keeping with the newest regulations, the motorcycle is now OBD2 compliant. 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V gets smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth-enabled LCD cluster, LED headlamps and split clip-on handlebars.

The 4-valve Xtreme 200S gets 3 new paint schemes- Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic and Matt Axis Gray Metallic.
