The hatchback gets refreshed quite a bit for 2023…
After just two days since its introduction, Hyundai marks the public debut of the Grand i10 Nios Facelift at the 2023 Auto Expo. It’s a mid-life update to the hatchback that includes refreshed styling, new features and more. The facelifted Grand i10 Nios gets a new front bumper that houses the enlarged black grille, new tri-arrow-shaped LED daytime running lights, new 15-inch alloy wheels, and new connected LED taillights.
On the inside, the layout and overall design remain unchanged, but now features grey upholstery for the seats, steering wheel wrapped in leather, metal finishing for the door handles, and new lighting for the footwell. It retains the 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, wireless charger, and rear air conditioning vents from the outgoing model.
However, it does get new features such as automatic headlamp units, cruise control, Type-C USB ports, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc. Safety features like ABS and EBD, and 4 airbags are offered as standard. Optional safety features include 6 airbags, ISOFIX mounting points, electronic stability control, and day/night rearview mirror.

Hyundai has left the powertrain untouched. So, it’ll continue to be offered with the 1.2L petrol engine that’s good for 83HP and 113.8 Nm of Torque. It can be had with a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission. Additionally, the Grand i10 Nios can also be specced with a factory-installed CNG kit which churns out 69HP and 95.2Nm of Torque. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine no longer exists on the i10 Nios.
Hyundai India has commenced the bookings for the Grand i10 Nios Facelift for a token amount of ₹11,000. It’s expected to be launched alongside the recently-revealed Aura Facelift compact sedan.
