The Huracan wears a rally cape…
Lamborghini sterrato launched in India at Rs. 4.61 crores (ex-showroom). The rally version of the V10 supercar had made its global debut in November. Lamborghini will produce just 1499 units of the limited-run model. Deliveries are known to begin in Q3, 2023.
The 610hp Sterrato comes with an additional 44mm in ground clearance and more travel for the suspension. The front and rear tracks have grown by 30mm and 34mm respectively. The air intake is now roof-mounted so that the engine breathes smoothly over rough, dusty patches. Huracan Sterrato also gets aluminium front underbody protection and reinforced sills.

Key exterior highlights include roof rails, bulky side skirts, bolt-on fender flares, a revised diffuser in the rear, etc. On the inside, Lamborghini Strerrato offers quirky off-road bits like a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicator, compass and steering angle indicator.
Strada and Sport modes on this Lamborghini have been recalibrated. There is also a new Rally mode with an updated vehicle dynamic pack or LDVI (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics). Unlike the standard Huracan, the Sterrato uses smaller 19-inch wheels wearing custom Bridgestone Dueler AT002 run-flat rubber – 235/40-R19 at the front and 285/40-R19.

The Huracan Sterrato is powered by the same 5.2L NA V10 engine which produces 610hp and 560Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and powering all 4 wheels. The car also gets a mechanical self-locking differential at the rear, for added ruggedness. 0-100 kmph is claimed to be done in 3.4 seconds. The top speed stands at 260 kmph.
