BMW Motorrad is all set to launch two kickass bikes in India. The manufacturer is planning for a re-entry into the hotly contested middleweight naked segment, in which the last thing it had had was the BMW F800R of the year 2009. After staying absent for almost a decade, BMW is now readying the all-new BMW F900R for an imminent launch in the country. Also expected to see its launch here is the adventure sport twin- BMW F900XR.
First revealed at the EICMA 2019, the F900R is a stylish naked roadster that gets a thoroughly aggressive design all over. The bike gets a bunch of exciting features and pieces of equipment like riding modes selection, adaptive cornering lights, 6.5inch colour TFT screen with BMW Motorrad connectivity etc.
The BMW F900 XR, as evident from the name, is a thorough-bred adventure tourer that gives easy and comfortable touring and traveling. It gets impressive wind and weather protection and seats that can adjusted in height if required. Both the bikes come powered by an 895cc 2 cylinder in-line engine with 105hp and 92Nm.
The F900 duo will launch in India on May 21, 2020. The F900R price in India is expected to fall somewhere around INR 11 lakh
