Though BMW India had earlier told the death cause to be unknown, our sources have confirmed the same to be a massive cardiac arrest
BMW India CEO and president, Mr Rudratej Singh passed away on Monday morning. It was the carmaker itself that had let the news out. Though BMW Group India, through a detailed media statement, said the cause of death to be unknown or in their own words, ‘yet to be ascertained’, our sources have confirmed the same to be a massive cardiac arrest.
Mr Singh was 46 years old at the time of demise. He was a man of immense capabilities and equally laudable compassion who had joined BMW India in August 2019. The carmaker has had immense growth under his leadership. It was indeed his transformational vision and strategic orientation that has been piloting the ship the right way in the challenging business waves of today. BMW Group India had been in the midst of strengthening its dealer network in India at the time of the captain’s sad demise.
Singh had had a successful career record altogether. He over the years, had assumed many critical leadership positions in both the automotive and non-automotive industries. He used to be the global president at Royal Enfield before joining the German marque as the CEO. BMW India seems to be as shocked at the demise as we are. They have expressed their deep grief at the loss of their beloved leader through a detailed media statement. Mr Arlindo Teixeira, Chief Financial Officer, BMW Group India has assumed the position as the acting president for the time being.
Rest In Peace Rudy…
