Famed Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has bought herself a new BMW iX electric SUV, and recently went viral for the same, in a rather unusual way! Usually, B-town stars get spotted flexing alongside their new cars or SUVs or are seen driving them. However, Nushrratt’s viral video with her new acquisition had a different angle. The actress was spotted at the airport, getting out of the iX SUV, and later strggling with the EV’s automatic tailgate.

The scene begins with the actress talking on her phone at the airport drop-off area. After the phone call, she opens the boot of her BMW iX luxury EV SUV and asks airport staff to hand her the luggage. Then, she bids goodbye to her mother, sister, and aunt and goes to the rear of the SUV. Nushrratt then presses the button to close the boot.
However, at that exact moment, her sister Aditi starts driving the car forward, causing the boot to not close completely and re-open. The actress then shouts and the car stops again. She then presses the button again, and this time, the boot comes close to closing but doesn’t actually close.
Nushrratt gets perplexed and starts to laugh. The paparazzi also enjoys the struggle. She then asks her mother for help, as she is going to be late for the flight. Then, she walks towards the gate. In the moments that follow, the paparazzi clicks pictures of her and her mother closes the boot.

There is only one variant of this electric SUV available- iX xDrive 40. BMW iX delivers 326 PS and 630 Nm. It can go from 0-60 kmph in 6.1 seconds and has a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The iX xDrive 40 is equipped with dual electric motors (One on each axle) and an All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
The battery pack of BMW iX xDrive 40 has a capacity of 76.6 kWh. The WLTP range here is 425 km. BMW provides a 2.3 kW charger that can charge the vehicle to 100% in 7 hours. 50 kW DC fast Charging allows the vehicle to go from 10% to 80% charge in 73 minutes. A faster 150 kW DC charging will get the job done in just 31 minutes.
