Godawari electric vehicle portfolio will have two and three-wheelers
Raipur-based electric mobility startup, Godawari Electric Motors has confirmed its participation in the Auto Expo 2023, Delhi. The company has revealed that it would showcase a multitude of EV models- 2 and 3 wheelers at the expo. Godawari is expected to launch an electric auto rikshaw (L5M) and an e-bicycle.
Godawari Electric has also announced its plan to use DCPD (Dicyclopentadiene) material for body panels for its new electric three wheeler, with it being a recent, innovative, and better plastic technology. The “virtually unbreakable” material is highly impact-resistant and safe. Godawari will showcase prototypes of its electric scooter, e-rickshaw and e-loader at the Auto Expo. All these will be manufactured at their upcoming facility in Raipur, in which the company claims to have invested around Rs. 150 crores.
Godawari Electric was launched in 2019 by Siddharth Agarwal and Mahendra Agrawal, with the vision of reducing the carbon footprint in the nation through sustainable mobility solutions. The company aims at providing non-polluting, sustainable modes of commute, and is also one of the first makers to launch a leasing model in the Indian EV space.
