Hero sold 13.9 lakh two-wheelers during this period.
Hero Motorcorp has ended Q1 on a high, recording sales of 13.9 lakh two-wheelers, translating to 36% growth. The manufacturer reported Rs 8,393 crore in revenue from operations (53% up from the previous fiscal). EBITDA amounted to 941 Crores, PBT to 824 crores and PAT stood at 625 crores and a consolidated PAT of 586 crores.
Hero has recently been aggressive with product launches and revamps. Notable recent entries include Splendor+ XTEC, Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition and Passion XTEC. Its dedicated EV brand ‘Vida’ has also been announced. Hero Motocorp also handles the business for Harley Davidson in India and recently launched the Nightster here.
