Hero Motocorp Sells 3.72 Lakh Units In April 2021

Hero Motocorp has shut down its plants till May 10, to break the COVID chain

Even with the COVID second wave in place, Hero Motocorp has recorded commendable sales numbers in April 2021. The manufacturer has sold 372,285 units in total. Of these, 32956 were scooters and the rest (339329) were all motorcycles. This essentially marks a 35.47% decline in the MoM sales numbers. Hero Motocorp sales during March 2021, were around 5,76,957 units. Furthermore, around 342614 units were sold in the domestic market in April this year, while 29671 were exported.

However, a proper YoY comparison is not possible this time, as the manufacturer had stopped its production and sales during April 2020, owing to Corona-imposed national lockdown.
