With the BS6 upgrade, the price of Kawasaki Ninja 300 has gone up by INR 20,000
Kawasaki has launched the BS6 guise of Ninja 300 in India at a very interesting price. At INR 3.18 lakh, the price of 2021 Ninja 300 marks a hike of around INR 20,000.The BS4 guise had been discontinued in December 2020, when it was driving in decent sales volumes. It remains to be seen if the new bike would continue this success saga with the revised pricing.
There is no major tweak in the design of the BS6 Ninja 300. It looks quite like the BS4 model with the familiar dual headlamp units, sporty fairing with integrated turn signal lamps, sculpted fuel tank, split seat, minimalist tail cowl etc. The only changes on the exterior would be the new decals which make the bike look sportier than the one it replaces. With all these in place, the new Ninja 300 has clear inclinations towards the other models of the Ninja family, ike ZX-14R, ZX-10R, ZX-6R. The all-new Ninja 300 is available in 3 different paint schemes- Lime green, Candy Lime green type 3 (KRT), and Ebony.

Not much has changed on the equipment front either. The bike gets LED taillamps but continues to miss out on LED headlamps and LED indicators. The analogue-digital instrument console is just the same as before and definitely shows its age now.
The mechanicals on the all-new Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets the same specs as the yester-year offering. There is still the 296 cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine paired to the familiar 6-speed transmission, doing their duties on the bike. Though this engine has been made BS6 compliant, there has been absolutely no drop in power or torque. The new emission norms have been met without sacrificing power, with the figures still being 39 PS and 26.1 Nm. A slipper and assist clutch comes as a standard offering on the 2021 bike as well.
