The CLS becomes the carmaker’s first coupe to flaunt the “sensual purity” design idiom !
Mercedes Benz CLS, the world’s first four-door coupe, gets a new life in the nation as India’s largest luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz launches its third generation here. The dynamic and elegant four door coupe charmingly incorporates Mercedes Benz’s novel design philosophy of “sensual purity”. The car comes with MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, thus opening up a whole new dimension of lighting technology. A wide, vibrant range of colors to choose from including Graphite Grey, Ruby Black and Designo Selenite Grey Magno sums up the exteriors of the new CLS.
The sense-soothing interiors have been enhanced with a high resolution 12.3 inch media display screen, attached to a digital cockpit with three selectable display styles and new generation telematics that includes the Audio 20 with NTG 5.5.
An impressive Burmester surround sound system comprising 13 high-performance speakers provides for an out-of-the-world acoustic experience inside the car. The 64 color ambient lighting ensures the perfect mood for your journeys as well.
So what is under the hood? Well it’s an all new BS-VI compliant 2.0 L, four cylinder diesel mill that churns out as much as 180 kW and 500 Nm, thus making the CLS sprint to 100km/h in a mere 6.4 seconds. The top speed of the car is known to be 250 km/h

The stylish new CLS 300 d blends flawlessly into the current Mercedes-Benz coupé family with abundant design features. We are confident that the third generation CLS will offer superior luxury and comfort to our customers and will continue to delight them. He further added, “With the launch of the new CLS 300 d, Mercedes-Benz continues its offensive with its 12th product launched in 2018.
