Ola Electric Posts Highest Monthly Sales In December 2023!

Ola becomes the first company to sell more than 2.65 Lakh electric scooters in one calendar year.

Ola Electric registered sales of 30,219 two-wheelers in December 2023, according to its official website. In the last month of the calendar year 2023, Ola had a 40% market share in the electric two-wheeler space.

In December, OLA registered the highest sales in its history and had a 74% YoY growth. It registered a 48% QoQ growth in sales in Q3 of the current financial year, with 83,963 units being sold, alongside a 68% YoY growth from the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

This December, Ola Electric achieved a milestone of manufacturing 4 lakh electric scooters in 24 months. It has also become the first zero-emission two-wheeler manufacturer to register more than 2,65 lakh sales in India in a single calendar year, as per VAHAN data.

The surge in sales can be attributed to the fact that Ola had rolled out interesting discounts, offers and a wider product offering during the festive season. The second generation of Ola S1 Pro, the current flagship scooter, retails for Rs. 1,47,999, whereas the S1 Air starts at Rs. 1,19,999.

Three variants will be offered on the upcoming Ola S1X scooter: S1 X+, S1 X(3kWh), and S1 X(2kWh). The ex-showroom prices will be as follows: S1 X+ – Rs. 89K, with a flat offer of Rs. 20,000 on the ex-showroom Price of Rs. 1.09,999, S1 X (3kWh)- Rs. 99,999 and S1 X (2kWh)- Rs. 89,999.
