The Range Rover Sport SVR comes with a V8 petrol engine
Jaguar Land Rover launched the all new Range Rover Sport SVR in India with prices starting from INR 2.19 crores. The vehicle is brought in as CBU imports and is completely made in Coventry. The SVR, if you might remember, is the fastest and the most dynamic range rover made till date, and sits at the top of the Range Rover lineup.
The Range Rover SVR combines luxury and performance. It gets unique enhancements in its chassis and a massive 5.0L supercharged V8 petrol engine churning 528 hp and 700 Nm. The design too has performance upgrades. There are wider air vents for better brake cooling.
Together, these can make the SUV do the 0-100 acceleration in 4.5 seconds (Yes, that is sportscar territory) The Range Rover SVR also gets significantly upgraded brakes (performance-spec brake pads and discs, to be precise) and SVR-tuned suspension for ensuring a better drive experience.
On the inside, the Range Rover Sport SVR gets signature elements such as lightweight SVR performance seats, perforated Windsor leather upholstery, 19 speaker Meridian audio etc. The launch of the Range Rover SVR follows the start of bookings for the Jaguar F Pace SVR, hinting JLR’s focus on expanding the SVO lineup here.
