Quick look at the new $30M Rolls Royce Droptail…
Rolls Royce has revealed its newest bespoke roadster- the Arcadia Droptail. This is the third drop-tail model being built by the British luxury brand’s Coachbuild division, after the La Rose Noire and Amethyst.
Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail was commissioned by a wealthy buyer, whose details are yet classified. It took four years to complete this car, with the client having total control of the curation process.
The name ‘Arcadia’ comes from Greek mythology and refers to “Heaven on Earth.” This car is no short of being one! The theme of this Rolls Royce Droptail is inspired by wealthy customers’ favorite world regions. From Singapore’s tropical sky gardens to Britain’s Biomimetic architecture, a lot seems to have inspired the various highlights of this build.

The Arcadia features bespoke hardwood (known as Santos Straight Grain) on the rear deck and interior, comprising 233 pieces joined together carefully, and further protected by new, purpose-made lacquer for the vehicle’s lifetime. The folks at Rolls Royce spent 8000 hours working on the wood sections alone!
The car wears a unique White paint with infused Aluminum and glass particles, while lower sections are painted Silver. This is a departure from the previous Droptails which used to flaunt Carbon Fiber trims.
The Rolls-Royce Arcadia has a luxurious interior with White and Tan leather and an extremely complex clock face that took five months to create. The raw metal face incorporates a geometric guilloché pattern with 119 faces.

Though not officially confirmed, the Arcadia Droptrail could be powered by the 593hp 6.7L V-12. The price of this bespoke Rolls Royce is unknown, but likely above $30 million. This could simply be the world’s most expensive car today!
