Post the revision, the Classic 350 now crosses the 2 lakh mark

The new generation of Classic 350 is to be launched in India very soon. Numerous spy photos of the bike being tested have surfaced so far, indicating an imminent launch. It is hoped to get refreshed features and the new J-Platform and Engine from the Meteor 350. With days still left for the actual launch, Royal Enfield has now revised the outgoing Classic 350’s prices.
RE has announced price hikes of up to 8k for the Classic 350 variants. The previous price of the model started at Rs 1,72,466, which has now been raised to Rs 1,79,782, a net increase of Rs 7,316. The dual-channel ABS Stealth Black and Chrome Black variants get an increase of Rs 8,362, making the ex-showroom price a handsome Rs 2,06,962! With this, the Classic 350 price has crossed Rs 2 lakh for the first time.
In April this year, the prices of the Classic 350 variants had increased owing to the rising input costs, those of raw materials and transportation. Thus, the July revision is the second consecutive hike this year.

New Generation Royal Enfield Classic 350: What To Expect?
The upcoming new generation Classic 350 will be underpinned by the J-Platform, which had debuted first on the Meteor 350. A retro design with the good old circular headlamp, sleek taillamp, grab rails and turn indicators will be retained. The digital-analog instrument cluster and display pod for Google-powered Tripper Navigation System, seen previously on the Meteor 350 and the recent 2021 Himalayan will also be seen on the upcoming Classic 350.
Expect Meteor-levels of refinement on the Classic’s 349cc, fuel-injected engine as well, which would also be powerful enough to make 20.2hp and 27 Nm. The bike will have a 5-speed gearbox, Dual Channel ABS, choice of alloy wheels, spoke/wire wheels and chrome or black finished engine and exhausts. The new Classic 350 is undergoing rigorous testing as the launch date nears. Some of the dealerships have even started receiving the initial lot.
