The zeal of the waiting intensifies as more details of the Tata Harrier emerge!
As India awaits the launch of the highly anticipated SUV from Tata motors, the Harrier, with all the zeal that it deserves, the carmaker has now let out more information on the architecture that forms the base for this super stylish machine.
We had earlier told you that the Harrier would be based on Tata’s all new, extremely robust architecture which it calls ‘Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced’ architecture or ‘OMEGA ARC’ through a post on this site. Now we have gotten more details of this architecture from the carmaker’s officials. Developed basically on Land Rover’s D8 architecture, OMEGA ARC would offer exemplary driving dynamics in urban and rough road environments, thanks to the optimized torsional and bending stiffness.
The 5 seater monocoque SUV is expected to offer a calm and quiet in-cabin experience with its auxiliary isolation panels and superior strength and safety with its efficiently designed crumple zones made of advanced high strength steel.
The Harrier would be the carmaker’s first vehicle to follow the IMPACT 2.0 design language and the first to be based on the OMEGA ARC. Worth waiting for are its sleek looks and dynamism, and the class leading luxury and comfort inside.
We think the Harrier will definitely be a game changer for Tata Motors. Do you?
All things legendary start with a great foundation. The all-new Tata Harrier, built on the advanced monocoque OMEGARC architecture, developed on Land Rover’s D8 architecture, is truly #BornOfPedigree.
