Tata Motors Bags Orders For 1500 Electric Buses From Delhi Transport Corporation Under CESL Tender

And this happens to be the largest order yet by DTC

Tata Motors has bagged an order of 1500 electric buses from Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) under the tender by Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL). The manufacturer will supply air-conditioned, low-floor, 12-meter electric buses to the corporation. The Starbus family of electric buses offers cutting-edge technology, comfort, and amenities that place a strong focus on making the journey enjoyable for the passenger. This order also happens to be the largest yet by DTC.

The introduction of environment-friendly mobility to India has been spearheaded by Tata Motors, and the manufacturer currently has a number of models spanning across various alternate fuels. More than 650 electric buses from Tata Motors had earlier been delivered to various Indian cities, totaling more than 39 million kilometers on Indian roads.
