Tata Motors Bags Order To Supply 200+ Tata Hexa To Bangladesh Army !

Tata Hexa would be an army exclusive offering in Bangladesh for the time being

Tata Motors is gearing up to supply over 200 units of the Tata Hexa SUV to Bangladesh army. Bangladesh will now witness a newfound liking for this all-wheel-driven SUV from the Indian carmaker.

Tata Hexa is one car that had redefined the comfort levels of Tata utility vehicles at the time of its launch a couple of years back. The car has over the years, amassed much respect for its go-anywhere capabilities as well.

This is, in fact, the first key order from Bangladesh army for the carmaker. There were other brands too, competing with their SUVs. However rigorous tests that lasted for months, saw the Hexa emerge as the winner, meeting every single requirement and specification of the Bangladesh Army. The Hexa spares and service are widely available in Bangladesh. This, together with the comfort and performance levels of the SUV were taken into consideration for placing the order.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sujan Roy – Head – International Business, Passenger Vehicles, Tata Motors said, “Bangladesh is a key market for us and this order is a clear sign of Tata Motors’ commitment and growing success in the market. We are exploring multiple avenues to work closely with the Bangladesh armed forces and look forward to a long and rewarding partnership for both parties.”

Tata Motors had started its operations in Bangladesh in 2012. It currently stands as one of the two best selling passenger vehicle brands in the country. Tata’s portfolio there includes products like Tata Indigo, Tata Tiago and Tata Nexon. The Hexa, however, is being made available exclusively for Army use and is currently not available for purchase by the civilians.
