The new variant replaces the previous XZ trim of the SUV
Tata Motors has launched a new trim to the Nexon, that will add to its market dominance, called the XM Plus S. The Nexon is in huge demand across the country, and had recently ranked as the fourth most popular vehicle here.
The new variant would replace the XZ trim of the outgoing car and would sit comfortably between the XM(S) and XZ+ trims. It is packed with features and will be offered at an alluring starting price of INR 9.75 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The XM+ (S) trim is available with both diesel and petrol powertrains and with the choice of an automatic transmission. This holds special as the previous XZ variant offered no automatics. In pricing, however, the new variants are Rs 11,000-33,000 dearer than the now-discontinued XZ variants.
Variant | Ex-Showroom Price |
XM+ (S) Petrol Manual | 9.75 lakh |
XM+ (S) Petrol Automatic | 10.40 lakh |
XM+ (S) Diesel manual | 11.05 lakh |
XM+ (S) Diesel automatic | 11.70 lakh |
The Nexon XM Plus S comes with features like an electric sunroof, a 7” floating infotainment system with android auto and apple car play, four-speaker audio, a cooled glove box, rear AC vents, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, a digital instrument cluster, multidrive modes, a 12 V rear power socket, and a shark fin antenna. It is available in Calgary White, Daytona Grey, Flame Red, and Foliage Green.
