VAAN Electric becomes the first brand to launch a football-themed electric bike in India.

Indian e-mobility startup has announced a partnership with Kerala Blasters Football Club.

It has also launched a new electric mountain bike- VAAN Stelvio. 

Blasters coach Ivan Vukomanović has now been roped in as the brand ambassador of VAAN. 

It was the coach himself who launched the new mountain bike, in Kochi.

The launch happens at a time when Kerala Blasters FC is celebrating its 10th anniversary. 

Celebrating the same, VAAN Stelvio has a ‘Limited Blasters Edition’.

Like its stablemates, VAAN Stelvio bikes have been designed and engineered by Benelli. 

VAAN Stelvio highlights

The Stelvio mountain bikes come with a removable battery pack that sits inside the downtube frame, with claimed range of 50-70 km.

This electric mountain bike has a charging time of 3.5 hours and a lightweight design.

Stelvio mountain e-bikes come with 3 selectable ride modes: pedal assist , throttle and manual. 

User gets access to 70 Nm of torque and can reach speeds of up to 25 kph.

Other highlights include F&R Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brakes and Shimano Altus 7 Speeds derailleur gear set. 

Vaan plans to take this product to high-potential markets like Bangalore soon and also seems to have export plans.
