2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launched From Rs 1.84 Lakh

The all new Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets 5 variants and 11 colours to choose from

Royal Enfield today launched the much-awaited 2021 RE Classic 350 in the country with prices starting from Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle is available in 5 different variants and 11 colors. The top-spec variant bears an ex-showroom price tag of 2.15 lakh.

What’s Different?

The new Classic 350 gets the much-adored retro-styling clubbed with contemporary mechanicals. Much of the styling remains the same as before. The new Classic 350 gets retro-looking circular Halogen headlamps, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with refreshed graphics, chunky rear fenders, circular turn indicators, circular rearview mirrors, wide handlebars, spoke wheels, round tail lamp, slightly reworked seats, and a bottle-tube exhaust muffler.

The new RE Classic 350 gets an all-new semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog dial for the speedometer and a digital display for all essential rider information. The new RE Classic would also get the RE Tripper navigation, which had previously marked its presence on the Meteor 350 and BS6 Himalayan. However, the motorcycles being sent to the dealerships now do not get this feature. We hope Royal Enfield brings about this update soon. The Tripper pod would be neatly integrated into the cluster, and would not sit as an independent entity as it used to do on the Meteor and Himalayan.

The new Classic 350 would be available in both single-seater and double-seater configurations and with both spoke and alloy wheels. RE is also offering a host of accessories with the bike.

The Biggest Change: The New Mechanicals

The biggest change on the new Classic 350 has come under the skin. The motorcycle gets new mechanicals. It is now underpinned by the new generation J platform from the Meteor. It gets 41mm front forks and a gas-charged rear shock.

2021 RE Classic 350 gets the same 350 cc air-oil cooled engine as the Meteor. This mill produces 20.2 hp and 27Nm. These figures are 1.1 hp more and 1 Nm less than those of the previous motorcycle. The new Classic 350 has a 5-speed transmission. Courtesy of its new platform and engine, the new Classic 350 has improved a lot in response and refinement. 300mm front and 270mm rear discs take care of braking on the new motorcycle.
