Yamaha Crosser 150 could just be the right entry-level ADV for many!
A Motorcycle for ‘every day on asphalt or dirt’- Yamaha has launched the 2022 Crosser 150 ABS in Brazil. A model with high potential for developing markets like India, this entry-level ADV is priced at $15,590 (that’s 2.09 lakh INR) in Brazil.
It comes in two variants, S and Z, and Yamaha is unlikely to introduce the bike in India anytime soon. The 149 CC, single-cylinder engine on this motorcycle delivers 12.2bhp and 12.74Nm. It comes with a five-speed transmission. The Crosser 150 will support flex-fuel, as the Blueflex technology would allow the use of both petrol and ethanol as fuels. Also, It’s the only bike in its segment to feature ABS.
In terms of design, Yamaha Crosser 150 gets a wide single-piece seat with two levels for the rider and pillion. The handlebar is height-adjustable, the long-travel front suspension can take terrains with ease, and the high fender gives it a rugged and sharp look. Finally, the motorcycle rides on 19 and 17-inch dual-purpose Metzeler Tourance rubber.
