2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Launched In India: Quick Details

RE’s hugely popular Bullet nameplate makes a comeback…

The all-new 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has finally been launched in India. This is the newest form and an ‘update after ages’ to the legendary Royal Enfield motorcycle moniker. 2023 Bullet 350 is priced from Rs 1,73,000 and can go up to Rs 2,16,000. The new motorcycle is available in a curated set of paintschemes and variants- Military, Standard and Black Gold. The manufacturer has started accepting bookings for the new Bullet 350. Here is everything you should know about the motorcycle…

2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Overview

We knew this was coming. We have already seen the J-platform spawn many interesting products like Meteor, Classic and Hunter 350. A new Bullet 350 was quite obvious a launch- and the same has now happened. The base underpinnings are shared with the Meteor and Classic, but RE Bullet 350 still has its character safe!

2023 Bullet 350 Design

The 2023 version of Bullet 350 is more of an evolution rather than a revolution. It still bears a lot of design similarities with the original motorcycle from 1969. It has the same distinctive round headlight at the front, with two smaller passing lights positioned above. The fascia has stood the test of time for 54 years, and still looks good.

The only notable changes include the new slimmer-looking headlight lens, and refreshed tear-drop-shaped fuel tank. The bike also gets a longer front fender and a revamped single-piece seat design. Most of the rest looks pretty much the same as before.

Features

When it comes to tech and equipment, the new Bullet 350 has the same set of features as other J platform bikes. You get an analogue speedometer, a tiny digital display with various warnings, an odometer, an eco indicator and a fuel gauge. Plus, there’s a USB charging point tucked away under the handlebar, across variants.

New Bullet 350 Platform And Mechanicals

Royal Enfield has revealed that the new Bullet has borrowed no parts from its predecessor. The motorcycle has a brand-new frame and a new-age J-Series engine. Of course, the frame isn’t too new technically, as the same underpins the Meteor 350, Hunter and new Classic. However, it is a huge improvement over the previous Bullet 350’s mechanicals.

The base spec Military variants get front disc brakes and drums at the rear, while higher variants come with disc brakes for both wheels. The motorcycle gets a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Also comes with single-channel ABS.

2023 RE Bullet 350 Engine Specifications

The new Bullet 350 is powered by the same J-series engine that does duty on the new Classic, Hunter and Meteor 350. This engine feels very refined, modern and strong in real-world commutes. If you’d recollect, we had loved it on the new RE Classic, which we talked about in detail, in our first ride review. On the Bullet, the engine has been tuned to deliver smooth, strong torque for comfortable rides.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350’s engine is claimed to produce 20.2 hp and 27 Nm, and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.
