Upcoming Sedan Cars In India in 2024
New Maruti DZire
The new-generation Dzire was recently spotted testing in India. Although the overall design appears to be the same as the outgoing model, the new sedan will share some design cues with the new-generation Swift, such as a redesigned front grille, updated headlamp and taillamp designs, and new bumpers.
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to make its debut in mid-2024 and will be based on the new-gen hatchback’s underpinnings. It is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-liter three-pot mild-hybrid petrol engine as the upcoming Swift, mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT transmissions.
Hyundai Verna N Line
The latest generation of the Hyundai Verna debuted in March of last year, and it has since become one of the most performance-centric cars in its segment. The new-gen Verna’s tGDi petrol engine produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm, and it does a bang-up job in terms of performance. However, it needs more from the steering and suspension set-up.
The Verna N Line is expected to address just this! It will come with a significantly superior suspension and steering setup than the regular car. Test mule have recently been spotted in India.
The N Line Verna is expected to get a few styling changes, such as red accents on the front and rear bumpers, dual exhaust tips, sport-tuned alloy wheels, and more. (Don’t fall for the images here, they are mere renders!) Steering geometry and suspension settings would facilitate a sportier and more engaging driving experience.

The new car’s design will be inspired by those of the latest offerings from the brand, such as the new-gen City and Accord sold in international markets. 2024 Honda Amaze will also feature an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite.
