Bajaj Pulsar 250 Spotted Testing

The Bajaj Pulsar 250 will have a newly developed platform

Bajaj Auto’s upcoming street fighter, Pulsar 250 was recently spotted testing in Pune in a fully camouflaged form. From the photo, it is expected to have slightly larger body dimensions. As far as we know, this is going to be the avant-garde motorcycle to be built on the new platform developed exclusively for the Pulsar brand.

Though the details are concealed by camouflage, the overall body design, and mechanicals of the bike are more or less revised. Judging by the design of the test mule, the new bike is going to be bigger than the NS200, with the addition of all LED lights.

A brand new 250CC engine is going to be the heart of this motorcycle. This would have oil cooling in place of the NS200’s liqiud cooling mechanism and would thus provide for a better value for money persona. The Pulsar 250 is likely to produce around 24bhp and would mostly be mated on a new, six-speed gearbox as well. Also, it would have features like telescopic forks at the front, monoshock at the back, upswept side exhaust and split seats.

Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected to hit the market by September, foreseeing the festive sale. Once launched, it will primarily rival Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha FZ 25, Husqvarna Vitpilen, Svartpilen 250 and KTM Duke 250.
