The rejig happened as Hero integrated marketing, sales and after-sales
India’s Hero MotoCorp elevated its marketing head Ranjivjit Singh to a newly created position titled Chief Growth Officer, integrating the Marketing, Sales, and After-Sales roles. Hero said in a statement that the new position would work on leveraging the maximum out of the emerging opportunities in the post-covid era.
Ranjivjit’s ascend came after the departure of Naveen Chauhan, who had previously been heading the Sales and After Sales department. Commenting on the rejig, Hero MotoCorp Chief Operating Officer Mike Clarke said the company is now entering a new era of opportunities and growth, with the world rapidly coming out of the Coronavirus pandemic.
“We must stay nimble and dynamic, which requires synergies between the key customer-facing functions of Marketing and Sales & After-Sales,” added Mike Clarke.
Ranjivjit, who had joined Hero MotoCorp in July 2021, is an industry heavyweight with over three decades of experience in business operations and brand management. The rest of the leadership at Hero’s Sales and After Sales service will remain the same.
