Covid 19: Hyundai India Extends Warranties And Services During Lockdown

Hyundai customers can now be not worried about their free services and warranties expiring during the lockdown

Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced the extension of warranties on their cars during the lockdown imposed due to the second wave of the pandemic. The carmaker has now guaranteed all its customers protection against losing their precious warranties and free services during the lockdown.

As per the media statement by HMIL, the customers of Hyundai cars now have their warranty packages and free services extended by an additional two months. Thus, they won’t be at the risk of losing their hard-earned money on their car maintenance during the pandemic. Hyundai, however, has not specified the exact dates for customers eligible for this. The media statement, however, mentions “customers that are unable to avail services due to lockdown conditions in their cities or states.”

Hyundai is also offering 24×7 roadside assistance to all its customers. Plus, the customers can now book their services in a totally digital and contactless fashion, and provide pick and drop services as well.

Hyundai India has also been contributing to the COVID 19 relief during the second wave, by delivering Medicare oxygen equipment to the needy. Owing to the worsening situation here, it had recently pushed the launch of the Alcazar, the next big thing from the Korean giant to later this year.
