Jaguar To Return To ‘Home Soil’ At The Heineken London E Prix

It is the first time in 17 years that Jaguar is racing at London

Jaguar Racing has started the countdown for its upcoming race at the London E Prix. The London E Prix outing stands special for the fact that it is the first time in 17 years that Jaguar is racing in London or the ‘Home Soil’. Being the only British manufacturer competing in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Jaguar will hit London’s ExCel circuit this weekend with Sam Bird and Mitch Evans behind the wheels. The race is scheduled for this weekend, the 24th (15:00 BST) and 25th (14:00 BST) of July 2021.

The Heineken London E-Prix is in fact the first-ever indoor and outdoor Formula E race, and the 16th one for Jaguar. On the home soil, Jaguar Racing hopes to achieve podiums and more on-track points. Currently, the team stands third in the ‘teams’ standings, five points away from the top spot. The team will be racing in a highly improved Jaguar I Type 5.
