India’s iconic Dhoom bike looks better than ever in this special edition!
Suzuki has taken veils off a special edition Busa- one that celebrates 25 years of the GSX1300R aka Hayabusa- the brand’s most popular and ‘mistaken-for-nothing-else’ motorcycle to date. 2024 Suzuki Hayabusa looks breathtakingly beautiful in the special edition, which is more of a cosmetic upgrade with little to no mechanical changes from the outgoing model. The limited-edition motorcycle is now listed on Suzuki’s official website and the prices are expected to be out soon.

2024 Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Special Edition- What’s In It?
A new Glass Blaze Orange- Glass Sparkle Black colourway tops the list of highlights. The Busa looks brilliant in this paint. This comes from the star colourway of the second-generation motorcycle.
The special edition Hayabusa’s bodywork also gets a V-shaped Red graphic, a Black Hayabusa Kanji logo along with multiple ’25th-anniversary edition’ badges. The cowling gets a Black trim, and brake rotor carriers and drive chain adjusters are finished in anodized Gold. Further, the single-seat cowling is now offered standard.
The overall shape and design remain unchanged at large. This special edition Busa, much like its previous generations and the outgoing motorcycle, draws clear design inspirations from the Peregrine Falcon. Powered by the familiar 1,340cc four-cylinder, double overhead cam engine, the anniversary edition Hayabusa gets ride-by-wire tech as well.

Suzuki Hayabusa History:
Suzuki premiered the first-gen Busa- or the GSX1300R as it was called back then, in 1998. The motorcycle garnered instant attention, and over the years, gained popularity across geographies. In 25 years, over 3 lakh units of Suzuki Hayabusa have been sold globally. We’ve been seeing multiple crazy Busa customs and swaps based on these motorcycles (some Bizzare of course!) all these years- each instance underlining the immense popularity that this Suzuki enjoys among enthusiasts.
Suzuki Hayabusa has also starred in a lot of movies and popular TV shows: Chuck, Turbo Charged Prelude to 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Next Day, Death Toll, Vortex- all had the motorcycle involved in high adrenaline scenes.
The Indian crowd would recognize Busa as the Dhoom bike- as Bollywood’s multi-star heist thriller of 2004, had some breathtaking visuals and chase scenes involving the same. Busa and its rider John Abraham rose to immense popularity, after the movie. The actor once had a first-generation Busa in his garage and currently owns a 2022 model as well.
