Tata Altroz, Nexon EV, And Nexon Get Dark Editions In India

The Dark Editions add more appeal to these vehicles

Tata Motors has launched Dark Editions on multiple popular nameplates. The carmaker had lately been teasing these through their social media channels. Tata Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV now get DARK editions. The Tata Harrier Dark Edition which was earlier available as a limited-run product, now gets subtle reworks, making it more appealing for the present day.

The all-new Dark range is now available at Tata Motors showrooms and the booking has begun as well. Tata Motors also has an array of #Dark merchandise including premium leather jackets and T-shirts on sale as well.

The Altroz is often appreciated for its stunning design. The Dark Edition gives it significant visual boosts. The Altroz Dark sits at the top of the Altroz lineup, and is reportedly priced from Rs 8.71 lakh (ex-showroom), to be more precise, the Altroz XZ+ petrol variants (Both NA and iTurbo), the diesels won’t ‘go Dark’ for now. The Altroz Dark wears an exterior shade of Cosmo Black and rides on R16 wheels. The hatchback also has premium dark Chrome across the hood.

The interior of the Altroz Dark gets significant changes gone into it. The cabin has a Granite Black theme with metallic gloss Black mid pad. The seats get a new leatherette upholstery with Deep Blue tri-arrow perforations and deco Blue stitching. The front headsets get #Dark mascots stitched on them.

Tata Nexon has been topping the sales charts recently. It is in fact, one of the most sold Tata motors cars of the recent times.The Nexon now gets the Dark edition that raises its style quotient further. The Nexon Dark gets a Black paintscheme, Charcoal Black R16 alloy wheels, multiple #Dark mascots, Sonic Silver highlights, and a matte Granite Black body cladding. The interior gets a stunning dark interior pack, premium leatherette upholstery with Tri-arrow perforations,front headrests with #Dark embroidery and more. The Nexon Dark is available in the XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O), XZA+(O) variants and with both petrol and diesel powertrains.

The hot-selling Nexon EV has also got the Dark edition now and looks even more menacing in it. The XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants get the Dark theme and the key highlights include a premium Midnight Black exterior colourway, humanity line and Beltline finished in satin Black, numerous #Dark mascots, and Charcoal Grey alloy wheels. The cabin now gets a dark theme and has a mid-pad finished in Piano Black. The leatherette upholstery gets Tri-arrow perforations and EV Blue stitches, and there is a leatherette wrapped steering wheel as well. The new Nexon EV also offers iTPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system). Also, the XZ+ variant now gets rear central armrest with cup-holders, and 60:40 split rear seat with adjustable headrests.

Tata Motors had launched the Harrier Dark Edition in August 2019,as a more killing persona of the already-butch SUV. Initially it was pushed in as a limited-run offering. The Harrier Dark instantly rose to recognition. Apparently overwhelmed by the same, Tata Motors has now refreshed the Harrier Dark Edition, making it even more appealing to the present day interests.

The 2021 Tata Harrier Dark gets a new Oberon Black paint with a tinge of deep blue. The car now gets bigger R18 blackstone alloys and numerous Dark badges. The interior continues to have a dark theme. The Benecke Kaliko leatherette upholstery now has more pronounced Tri-arrow perforations with deep blue undertones. The headrests have special #DARK embroidery as well. The equipment list remains the same as the outgoing model. The Dark Edition is available on three trims of the 5 seater SUV- XT+, XZ+, XZA+.
