The MG Hector Plus will come in as a 6 seater and not a seven seater…
MG Motors India opens pre-booking for Hector Plus. The 2020 Hector Plus offers a seating capacity of 6 persons than the previous 5 seater model. initial reports suggested that the English manufacturer will provide 6 and 7 seater options of MG hector for this year and finally, they are offering 6 seater variants with captain seats in the middle row. MG dealers have started to accept the booking for the car unofficially.
MG hector Plus is bigger for this year. It is now 4,720 mm in length, which makes the 2020 version 65 mm longer than the outgoing 5-seater variant the MG Hector. Apart from the length, width height and wheelbase are expected to remain the same. Boot space is compromised for the 2020 iteration with the addition of a seat, however, a user can get 530litre of boot volume when the last row of seats are folded flat.
Apart from the addition of new seat and cosmetic updates, the vehicle will be receiving major updates. A powered tailgate with a kick to open function, Black and Sepia Brown dual-tone leather upholstery, third-row AC vents are the highlights of the features list. Also, the all-new Hector Plus will be offered in an exclusive color called “Starry Sky Blue”. However, the powertrains will be unchanged for the new avatar. 2020 models will be powered by the same engine options that powered its predecessor models. A 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with and without mild-hybrid technology and a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel unit which will be coupled to the same transmission unit from the previous models.
