The Honda Elevate will make its global reveal in June in India
It’s about time we get to see another new Honda model in India. Honda has been relying too much on the City for quite a long time. The discontinuation of older Honda SUVs and other models has limited the Honda lineup in India to a very short one. Now, Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) is all set to release its latest offering to the Indian market. They have announced their brand new SUV model, Elevate, which is quite different from the usual SUV nomenclature.
The new Honda Elevate will be a compact SUV designed specifically for the Indian market. It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, etc. No detailed information about the SUV has been officially released by the manufacturer. For the first time, Honda has posted a picture of the SUV showing its rear name badging.

The Indian car market expects the Elevate to bring more heat into the compact SUV segment. It will probably come with 1.5L petrol and strong hybrid powertrain options, along with features such as a large and advanced infotainment system, ADAS safety features, and ventilated front seats. No diesel engine is expected with this model due to the latest emission norms. The global reveal of the Honda Elevate will be conducted in India in June of this year. Even though it’s too early to predict the price of the SUV, reports suggest that it will start around Rs. 11 lakh.
