2020 Hyundai Creta bookings had started on March 2nd, pan India
The next-gen Hyundai Creta is set to launch in India on March 17. First previewed during the Auto Expo 2020, the mid-size SUV has garnered much respect among the Indian buyers. The carmaker had opened the bookings on March 02. As it turns out now, the pre-booking figures for the 2020 Hyundai Creta have crossed the 10000 units mark, with days still left for the official launch!
The new generation Hyundai Creta shares its platform and underpinnings with the Kia Seltos. Thus it gets the familiar trio of engines from the Seltos- 1.5 petrol, 1.5 diesel and 1.4 turbo petrol. There would also the 4 familiar transmissions on offer as well.- 6MT, 6AT, IVT, 7DCT.
The new Creta will come with features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, automatic air purifier, large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, 7-inch multi-information display, power-adjustable driver seat, Hyundai BlueLink etc…
The new Creta also appears to be a safe car to be in with stuff like six airbags, ABS, EBD, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors etc on offer.
The official prices for the second generation Creta would be disclosed only at the launch event. However, the car can now be booked both online and offline against payment of INR 25000. We expect the prices to fall in the INR 10-18 lakh range.
The Creta has been the segment benchmark in sales since inception. From the response amassed by the second generation prior to the launch, one could easily conclude that the success saga of the Creta nameplate would remain unchanged in the days to come as well.
