Engine And Mechanicals

The Street Scrambler is based on the Triumph Bonneville. It has a 900cc, high torque Bonneville twin-cylinder engine as its powerhouse, producing 65 PS and 80Nm. The peak torque can be accessed at 3250 rpms. Being Euro 5 compatible, this engine is now cleaner and more refined. The transmission on offer is a 5 speed unit with a wet, multi-plate clutch with torque assist as standard.

Braking on the 2021 Street Scrambler is handled by 120mm discs at the front and rear. The motorcycle has 19-inch wheels at the front and 17-inch units at the rear, shod with Metzeler Tourance rubber. The seat height is fairly low, at 790mm. The front forks get cartridge damping and offer up to 120mm of wheel travel while the rear twin shocks have 120mm of travel on offer as well. Key technologies like ABS, traction control, switchable riding modes, etc are also on offer.
