2022 TVS iQube Electric Scooter Launched With 140 Km Range

There are now 3 different TVS iQube variants to choose from!

With the growing demand for electric scooters in India, TVS has launched the 2022 iteration of the iQube electric scooter. The iQube has now been made more affordable and there are plans for expansions of its market shares. The new iQube has a total of 3 variants to choose from.

The base variant offers a 100kms range with a 5-inch TFT screen display, and also come in shades such as Shining Red, Titanium Grey Gloss, and Pearl White. It is priced at Rs 98,564 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The mid-spec ‘S’ variant, priced at Rs.1.08 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi), also features a 100 km range, but has a larger 7-inch TFT display. It is available in the shades- Mercury Grey Glossy, Mint Blue, Lucid Yellow, and Copper Bronze Glossy.

The fully equipped top-of-the-line iQube ST has a claimed range of 140 kms. It has features like a 7-inch touchscreen display featuring TVS Smart X connect which comes as standard for all three in the lineup. However, the iQube ST supports 1.5 Kw fast charging and has larger under-seat storage. It is offered in Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy, and Copper Bronze Matte paint shades. TVS is yet to reveal the pricing of the ST variant, but you can book one for a token amount of Rs.999 now.

The SmartX connect system lets the users connect with the display using the TVS iQube app, which displays navigation directions on the screen. Additionally, the geofencing feature lets users detect the location of the scooter, along with incoming call alerts and remote charging status. This will also let the user access a wide range of data related to riding such as top speed, average speed, distance traveled, etc.

The present generation gets larger battery packs and are packed in high strength aluminum extrusion casing, and has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, and also comes with a 3 year/50000kms warranty.

The peak power of the motor is the same 4.4 kW as before and is capable of reaching 40kmph in just 4.2sec. The base and mid-variant of iQube is capable of reaching top speed of 78kmph, and the iQube ST reaches 82Kmph in power mode. The manufacturer has already commenced the production of all three variants and these will reach dealerships soon.
