Bajaj Pulsar 220F Reintroduced In India

A new Carbon edition is now available with the Pulsar 220F

Bajaj has relaunched one of their most successful motorcycles, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F, in India. Upon the entry of newer models such as the Pulsar N250 and F250 last year, Bajaj silently discontinued the iconic 220F. Now the model has been relaunched into the market at Rs. 1,39,686 (ex-showroom).

Born in 2007 in Bajaj’s Chakan plant, the 220F was introduced as the fastest Indian bike of that time. It became an instant success and acquired a massive following of the youth towards the brand. 220F was the motorcycle that paved the way for the newer Pulsar bikes. Even after one and a half decade of pure adrenaline, the 220F had so much left in it when Bajaj decided to end its manufacturing.

Now the model is being reintroduced to the market without any mechanical changes from the BS6 model that was sold last year. The main change is that the new 220F will come as OBD-2 compliant. The new bike will carry a 220cc, 4 stroke, twin-spark, oil-cooled engine, putting out 20.4PS and 18.55Nm. The new bike will be offered in a Carbon edition, like the Pulsar 125. Reports say that deliveries of 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F will begin by the end of this month.

2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Price: Rs 1.39 Lakh (Ex-showroom)
